And today, I’m going to answer that question.

✍Why Publications are Important.
This could be a problem you have doubts about, especially if you’re new here.
- Why do I need to post in publications?
- Is there any advantage to doing so?
Yes, they are super important. Publications carry a much larger audience with them. Some of them offer you hundreds of thousands of potential readers for your next masterpiece.
So, your stories will be pushed to a wider audience than you just publishing your stories on your own, resulting in greater engagement.
The only problem is how to find such “Good publications” because all of them are not equal or in our terms
“Not good enough.”
There are some very nice publications, but they do not accept submissions, and some others invite you to submit, yet they have no audience.
But worry not. In the next section, you will have the answer to that.
✍How to find a good publication.
Finding a good publication is not difficult if you know where to look. With time, you will become more experienced as a writer and won’t need a guide like this to find one.
But for beginners that is a challenging task. So, the following guide will help you.
1. The obvious way.
The fastest and easiest way to find a publication is by looking at other good writers. Just click the Logo and you will navigate other writers stories stacked on each other.
Look at the highlighted areas. They are some great publications. Open them using a new tab and find the place where they invite submissions. (A fully detailed guide will come soon.)

Additionally, you can check out Staff Picks to see great stories personally selected by the staff. (It’s in the right-up corner in the above picture.) You may also find some interesting publications there.
But, what if you don’t see a publication related to your niche? Then head over to the next section.
2. The Mediums’ way.
Medium have their own way of doing something. So, they have introduced a method for Publication searching.
Enter your niche or topic in the search box, then select “publications” as I have highlighted.
They will provide you with a list of publications related to your search term, starting with the most popular ones at the top. Simply select one and follow the submission process.
In the next section, I have compiled a list of the best and most welcoming publications on Medium along with their links for you to join. So, you don’t have to worry about how to become a member.

Geek Culture is also one of the most reputed publications you can submit your stories. It has a very unique fan base who just love to read about technology.
