Then Choose your country, country phone code, and finally your mobile number.

Alright! Now you have provided the basic information, it’s time to connect your Careers Profile with Google. Let’s go through them step by step, so you will not miss important details.
1. Uploading Your Resume
The first thing you need to do is upload your resume into the portal. I assume by now you have created a resume since you are looking for an internship.
If not, please go to a website like Canva to create a strong resume with no cost & come after creating your CV.
Then, Go ahead and upload it.
You can opt-in to the blue color option menu to fill in your details according to your uploaded resume. Google will analyze your CV and try its best to auto-fill it.
But I strongly encourage you to double or triple-check all the fields as they are according to your needs.
Or, you can opt out of the option and manually fill in all the fields, which will take time, but you know what you are filling.
I strongly encourage you to create your own website if you can, because the selection is done within thousands of resumes flooding around the world.
So, yours needs to have something extra.
Go to www.gooodwriter.com to learn how to easily create and host your own website.❤️
2. Choosing Location
As you are filling out the form, automatically or manually, you will have to choose the locations you are interested in working as an intern.
Please refer to the detailed information on the internship program before you fill this out. Some locations may have not provided the same facilities.
You can find all the locations providing Google internships here.
3. Filling the Profile Preference
Finally, you have come to the last bit of creating your career profile. Next, check Yes if you prefer to personalize your Google career profile with new and upcoming career recommendations.
It’s totally up to you, but I strongly suggest you go with Yes.
At last, you have to check both options since they are mandatory to complete the career profile and hit on Submit profile & Continue.
After completing the career profile, Google will prompt you to fill in some work-related questions according to what type of internship you chose.
Here in this example, I will explain the role, of Student Researcher, BS/MS, Fall 2024 — United States.
This role asks you to fill in additional locations to choose from in order to find your eligibility for the position. Again please read the information page of the relevant job role to understand the requirements they are asking.
